Trust takes time. No matter how complete a profile appears or how comfortable a conversation feels, keep your own pace and place personal, financial, and physical safety ahead of expectations about a relationship.

Never pay a stranger

Do not transfer money, pay on someone's behalf, buy gift cards, receive funds for them, or share a payment verification code with a person you do not know well. Pause and verify independently whenever someone requests payment for an investment, a loan, an emergency, promised returns, shopping, medical costs, travel, or any other story. If you have paid or suspect fraud, contact the payment institution promptly and seek help from the appropriate local authority.

Protect personal information

Before trust is well established, do not disclose your home address, identity documents, bank details, payment codes, passwords, detailed workplace address, or predictable daily routine. Avoid unknown external links and do not install software requested by another member. No one should receive your password or verification code as proof of identity.

Communicate gradually

Use platform communication during the early stages and notice whether the other person's account remains consistent over time. Members with the relevant permission may voluntarily exchange contact details, but you do not need to move off-platform because someone applies pressure. Repeatedly avoiding basic questions, rushing intimacy, creating urgency, or demanding secrecy are reasons to slow down.

Understand verification markers

Real-person verification and profile or media review provide supporting information. They are not an absolute safety guarantee and do not confirm every identity detail, intention, financial claim, or future act. Consider the full conversation, respect for boundaries, and information you can verify independently. Do not accept financial or meeting risk solely because a badge is present.

Your first in-person meeting

• Choose a public place with other people and an easy way to leave.
• Tell a trusted friend or relative the time, place, and basic details of the person.
• Arrange your own transport and do not let a stranger collect you from home.
• Keep your phone charged and maintain a clear way to end the meeting.
• Limit alcohol and keep control of your drink and important belongings.
• Leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable, pressured, or unsafe. You do not owe a prolonged explanation.

Recognise warning signs

Be cautious when someone quickly introduces investments or shared finances, promises unrealistic returns, claims a sudden emergency, asks you to receive or forward funds, requests verification codes, repeatedly sends external links, or uses affection or shame to force compliance. Time or emotion already invested is not a reason to ignore new evidence of risk.

Stop, block, and report

If you encounter suspected fraud, harassment, threats, impersonation, or other concerning conduct, stop contact, send no more information or money, and use blocking and reporting tools. Preserve only evidence that is necessary and safe. If there is immediate danger, leave and contact local law enforcement or emergency services. Platform support is not an emergency response service.
